March 15, 2010 – For most people, walking around and getting from point A to point B doesn’t require much thought, but for the estimated 19 million Americans who report some mobility difficulty, simply walking around is much more complicated.
Mobility issues in older Americans can stem from many conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, stroke or weight problems often associated with diabetes or heart disease.
