However, one in five Americans has arthritis and may experience difficulty performing these daily activities because of pain and inflammation.
 
Arthritis is a blanket diagnosis that refers to more than 100 forms of arthritis and related conditions, such as osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and gout.
